During a Bible study I attended there was discussion about how we will give an account for all our sins. I asked how that jives with the verse that says our sins will be lost in the sea of God's forgetfulness. The leader acted as though I were adding to scripture. I didn't know the reference, so I let it drop, but it's weighed heavily on my mind ever since. I don't believe God's Word contradicts Itself, so I'm a little confused about this one...

I am with you on this! I have asked myself the same question many times! My husband and I had a discussion about this tonight, after I had read your blog. We are thinking that it must be confusing because God is not restrained by time. When Jesus died on the cross He said "It is finished", and it says that "we ARE seated at His right hand". The tense used there is as if we are already in heaven seated next to Jesus. I think it has all already happened! God is the Judge. When we get to heaven, and the accuser tries to bring up all the things that make us unworthy Christ will be there to say, "nope I died for that too!" Wow! Incredible! Thanks for the post! I love it!
